10:28am Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side 2nd Season! (and other games).

Last night, I started playing Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side 2nd Season! (what a long name!)

There are quite a few things I like about this game.

I played the first season last year and pretty much didnt end up with who I liked. But now that I somehow understand more of the gameplay, it’s going good for me, so far ^^

One of the best things I like about this 2nd season is that it’s fully voiced!!

It’s like First Love Plus, except much better.

The characters also say your name! I cant remember if it did the same thing with First Love, but when I played Vampire Knight DS last year, the characters didnt say my character’s name (even though I gave it a Japanese name to be considerate lol)

And….skinship!!! haha, so far, I’ve seen quite a few cute skinship scenes….it’s fun with the DS stylus because you get to poke the male character (lol).

I havent gone so far into the game yet because of my busy schedule, but I really like this style of otome games. It’s laid back enough that I could enjoy playing it for two hours (atmost) and not feel a separation anxiety from my DS because like I said, it isnt intense gaming.

I think Im the type of person who likes fun but not too hyper game.

I get really hyper when I play Contra 4 on my DS though.

With a game that has no in-game save option, Im forced to give my all into pressing that fire button! (lol)

Ahhh~what a long blog post full of randomness.

I want to write more non-sense but I will stop.

11:44am Snails.

Sea snails, to be more specific.

I didnt like them when I was a kid

but now, I seem to like them

It’s just a pain to hook them out of the shell when eating.

They dont taste disgusting at all.

amydien’s vocal exercise machine!

lol, every morning, I plug in my mp3 player to this speaker so I could sing while preparing breakfast…or eating.

But lately, I’ve been quite busy and havent had time to do so.

Today, I have a quiet morning.

So I will sing!

12:11pm Souvenir from Nature.

Rocks and stones (and gold sheets in a bottle).

Ever since I was a kid, my dad would collect rocks and stones from places we visit.

Whether it was cave hunting, mountain climbing, or family outings in rivers or lakes by my grandparents’ house, my dad would often take a rock home and put them on display in our house.

These are some of the rocks/stones from his travel to Colorado, years ago.

We have one from Australia too ^_^

Actually, we used to have more rocks/stones, but I dont know what happened to them anymore.

Maybe my mom thought they looked better out in the garden,

and got mixed in with other ‘regular’ rocks in the backyard

Anyway, what I want to say is that I like things like this.

Keeping a piece of nature to preserve memories.

When I look at the rocks, Im reminded of those places we visit, or of the time when my dad brought them home from his travel!

Quite nostalgic!

12:43am HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We just finished our New Year celebration moments ago!

As soon as the countdown ended, my family scattered coins all over the house for good luck!!

My dad opened all doors to let good luck/good spirits inside the house!

My mom and I started jumping, in hopes of getting taller!

I hope 2010 will be a great year!

My CDs have arrived!!!

This time, I bought HIMEKA’s 2nd single and FictionJunction YUUKA’s 1st album!

First, HIMEKA’s “Hatenaki Michi” single:

^I ordered the Limited Edition, CD+DVD, but I guess they ran out of stock? I dont mind it since I also like Tegami Bachi anyway. ^^

^A copy of HIMEKA’s hand-written letter to fans! I was able read only bits of it because my knowledge of kanji and vocabulary is still not that good, but I’ll use this as a motivation to learn more! ^__^

I also got a Tegami Bachi sticker, but I forgot to take a pic. It’s the same as the single cover.

^I’ve been listening to FictionJunction YUUKA and Kalafina lately, so I’ve been waiting for this since I ordered it.

And I got a free Doraemon keychain…lol

I wanted a Lucky Star keychain or cellphone strap but they were out of stock already…

Anyway, I cant wait to listen to these CDs! What a nice Christmas gift for me!
